Chimène is a warrior nun of Mitra, born into an Aquilonian family but who has spent most of her life in the Aifreweia, the god's northernmost sanctuary, in land influenced by the corrupt magic of Hyperborea.

 

 

Campaign History :
 

The attack by the necromancer Gann was not Chimène's first fight, and would thankfully not be the last.  It was however a trial of her faith, seeing undead within the very walls and defiling the chapel.  The timely arrival of a group of adventurers, led by a turbulent but cultured Nemedian lord, provided her with a distraction and, as she supervised his healing, a growing friendship.  When one of Rudraige's companions, Ygritte, had to be left behind to recover from her wounds, Chimène volunteered to accompany him on a quest that she hoped would strike the icy heart of Hyperborea.

 

Her company was then separated by dramatic events, leaving Chimène to ride alone to Turan to try to ward off the Hyperboreans. In the coastal town of Yaralet, she met with Zoraya.  The meeting of the two women allowed both to understand the larger picture.   Whilst attempting to save the Hyperborean's future victim, they met dark forces on a now abandoned estate.  Their adventures would lead them to face and vanquish the rebel emirs, their Hyperborean allies, and the Winged Demon they were attempting to summon to rain down horror on Turan and then upon the North.
