Several races of Giants walk the lands of Hyboria, very different one from the next, but all revelling in human flesh.

Frost Giants dwell in the far north.  These children of Ymir wear mail armour and helmets, and carry axes that shine with icy brightness.  Their eyes are cold, and snow and ice are woven into their beards and clothes.  They are about twice as tall as men.  Female Frost Giants are of stunning beauty, with ivory-white skin and red-gold hair.  Frost Giants particularly appreciate human hearts, which they cook and serve up at banquets.

Hill Giants are solitary individuals, with little interest in the benefits of civilisation.  They interact little with men, but will on occasion raid their villages.  On rare occasions, Hill Giants will serve as mercenaries, although their total lack of discipline and disregard for orders makes them unpredictable.

Cyclops are another race of giants.  They dwell in caves, and often tend flocks of sheep or goats. They are variously received by human cultures, some seeing them as blood-thirsty monsters, others as virtual oracles, their one eye considered to be "all-seeing".
