Background :
-  By this vow to Mitra, I cast out the shadows from within my soul, that I may be just in upholding the laws of gods and men, that I may burn bright and tear away the veil of darkness from the eyes of those who behold me.  I shall be the vessel of Mitra and I shall not stray from his path.

The unswerving faith of the Warriors of Mitra is a beacon in a dark universe.  The One God repays their devotion with power, and these men fear neither dragon nor demon.  The flames of righteousness, however, take a great toll.  Many denounce the Warriors as religious fanatics, and perhaps of some that is true, but it cannot be denied that all pay the price, and none live into old age.

Born into a noble and pious Aquilonian family, whose traditions honed him as a warrior of tremendous discipline and skill, Cadmendin won his knighthood on the battlefield, amid ferocious carnage, and dedicated himself that very night to Mitra.  His kin take great pride in this, and his deeds already illuminate the pages of the family chronicle.  Cadmendin rarely returns to his home, but when he does, he tells stories of the Fellowship of Light that a priestess of Ibis forged in Tarantia, and countless horrors slain in the crypts of dark Stygia at her side.

Yet not even the demands of the Fellowship are sufficient to fill the demands of Cadmendin's broad soul.  During his wanderings, which he undertakes in the utmost poverty, he also comes to the aid of families and villages threatened by the terrors that stalk the night.

Campaign History :

In the Palm of the White Hand
Cadmendin's wanderings had taken him into the Northlands, where he heard rumours of dark forces gathering.  He made it to the Aifreweia just in time to help the priests of Mitra fight off a necromancer. It was here that he fell in with a Brythunian Lord, Rudraige, enticed by the opportunity to fight Hyperborea by his side.

The Veiled One
Zarese of the Silver Moon, increasingly troubled by Natohk, the man calling himself the "Veiled One" calls upon the Fellowship of Light to assist her.  As one of its eminent members, Cadmendin rallied her temple in Shem and followed her to the dread ruins of Kuthcheme.  Plunged into the thick of the fighting, he managed to slay one of the Stygian Assassins haunting the abandoned temple.  In the catacombs beneath it, it was Cadmendin that faced up to the Giant Spider haunting the ruins, and brought it low.
