Background :
- I've been a fisherman, a deck-hand, a marine, a navigator, a captain, and even once a galley-slave. My destiny is ever-changing, but it never leaves the ocean.
The love of the ocean, and wanderlust, is engrained in the peoples that dwell by the Vilayet Sea. Both her mother, of western descent, and her father, a Hyrkanian, were buccaneers, and after they were killed, Sathach was basically raised by the Sea, in the form of various piratical mentors sailing out of the Turanian and Hyrkanian ports.
She has risen to become captain of the Oniks, a sleek fifty-oared galley that the enemies of the Grand Sultan call the Black Death. The court of Aghrapur places great trust in Sathach, and she often transports important members of the Sultan's inner circle, on official or secret missions. When the velvet glove fails, she often acts as the iron gauntlet sent to punish traitors and rebels. She steadfastly refuses, however, to carry out any actions against fellow pirates, no matter their crimes.
The wily young woman also knows that to stay in favour, it is best to sometimes be out of mind; hence she dwells not in Aghrapur or any other of the Turanian cities, but instead has her base on one of the desolate Vilayet islands, among the ruins of fallen civilisations. She has acquired enough wealth to build three more smaller galleys and crew them, and is affectionately known in Onagrul, the secret stronghold of the Vilayet pirates, as the "Queen of Four".
Campaign History :
The Queen of Four served as transporter, entremetteuse, and bodyguard for the Turanian diplomat (and spy) named Zoraya. In the company of a Nemedian rogue named Brude, the three travelled to the northern town of Yaralet.
