Ibis is a god of Stygian origin, but whose priests are firmly opposed to Set. He is most popular in the Hyborian heartland, Aquilonia and Nemedia.
The priests of Ibis were driven from Stygia by the snake-worshippers of Set. They often ally with those of Mitra to fight back against the dark tide from the South.
Ibis is a god of learning, who imparts wisdom, and magic, to those who follow the difficult path he lays down. His worshippers claim him to be omniscient; all his knowledge, and thus all the knowledge in the Universe, is written down in three tomes locked away in the heart of a great crypt.
