The Cimmerians worship a grim and savage god, Crom, Lord of the Great Mountain, who cares little for mankind. At their birth, however, he breathes into men's souls the power to strive and slay.
The Cimmerians believe in a shadowy afterlife in which the souls of the dead wander Crom's grey realm aimlessly for all eternity.
Unsurprisingly, Crom raises little enthusiasm beyond the borders of Cimmeria.
